Cookies Policy
A plain-English walkthrough of the cookies we set, why they're there, and how you can switch them off.
This Cookies Policy describes how Trex Iptv uses cookies and similar storage on trexiptv.cam, and the choices you have over them. For the bigger picture on how we treat your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files that a website saves on your device when you load a page. They're how a site remembers things between visits — your language, your consent choice, whether you're still signed in. Without them, you'd start from zero on every page load.
They come in two flavours. Session cookies disappear the moment you close your browser. Persistent cookies stick around for a set time, or until you clear them yourself.
2. How Trex Iptv Uses Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum, but we do rely on a few to run the site properly. Here's what we use them for:
- Keeping core features working (essential cookies).
- Remembering whether you've accepted or declined optional cookies.
- Looking at anonymous traffic patterns so we can improve slow pages (analytics cookies).
- Showing offers that match your interests — only after you've opted in (marketing cookies).
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These keep the lights on. The pricing toggle, the free trial form, and the mobile menu won't work without them, so you can't opt out. They don't track you across other sites — they just hold the state of your current visit.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Saves your accept/decline choice on the consent banner | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We run Google Analytics to see which pages are popular and where visitors drop off. It's aggregated data — we can't tie any session back to a real person. If you decline on the consent banner, these cookies don't get set at all.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — keeps track of session state | 2 years |
To be clear: nothing fires until you tap "Accept" on the banner.
Third-Party Cookies
If you click through to a payment provider like PayPal or Stripe, that company will set its own cookies on its own domain. We don't control those, and we can't see what's inside them. Check each provider's privacy policy if you want the details on what they collect.
4. Your Cookie Choices
The first time you land on trexiptv.cam, a consent banner pops up. You can accept everything, decline non-essentials, or close the tab. Changed your mind later? You've got two simple options below.
Reset your consent
Hit the button below and we'll wipe your stored choice. The banner will come back on your next page load, ready for a fresh decision.
Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies straight from your browser. Here's where to look:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: blocking everything will break some features on the site. That's just how the web works.
Opt out of Google Analytics
If you'd rather skip analytics on every site you visit, grab the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. One install, and you're done.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we swap out tools or the rules around cookies change, we'll update this page and bump the "Effective date" at the top. There's no email notice — just check back every few months if it matters to you.
6. Contact
